Ian is a partner and head of the Commercial Department of Collas Day.  He is an English solicitor and an advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey.  He is the former chairman of the Institute of Directors, Guernsey Branch.

 He specialises in banking, company and commercial law and is a regular author and speaker on Guernsey Company Law, directors' duties and financial services.
